Started in 2012 by one solicitor who was tired of watching clients get talked over. Fourteen years on, we still run on the same idea.
Our story
Dummy & Co Legal opened its doors in 2012 as a sole practice above a Fortitude Valley cafe, built on a simple frustration: too many clients walked out of legal appointments more confused than when they walked in.
Fourteen years on, we've grown to a team of six, moved to Ann Street, and taken on more than 1,800 matters across family, property, business and personal injury law. What hasn't changed is the approach: plain language, honest advice about your odds and your options, and a solicitor who knows your name.
We turn away work that isn't a good fit rather than stringing clients along, and we tell you up front what something is likely to cost.

Where to find us
Level 4, 210 Ann Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000. In the Brisbane CBD, a short walk from Central Station.
We're open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. Most first calls happen by phone, and we're happy to meet by video if coming into the city is hard.
